Panel Discussion: Best Practices for Neurodiverse Hiring, January 17 – 5:30 – 8pm – The panel will be discussing Best Practices for Neuro Diverse Hiring. They will elaborate on how small and large companies or small and large HR departments can enable a program for neurodiverse employees. In addition, they will discuss the challenges companies may face in making a Neuro Diverse hiring program successful.

- Adult Social Group | Spring 2023 – SPRING 2023 | February 11th, March 11th, April 1st, and May 13th – 2nd Saturday from 11:30 AM-1:00 PM | Adults will be provided with lunch at Social Club Sessions, Autism Society NWPA | 3308 State St | Erie, PA 16508 – The group gives adults on the Autism Spectrum an opportunity to continue to socialize with peers after they leave formal educational settings. Age 21 and older.
- ICANdance Adaptive Dance Program – Special needs children can learn to dance at the ICANdance Adaptive Dance program. Kids learn Ballet, Jazz, and Contemporary Dance. The class is for children with Cognitive / Intellectual Disabilities, Autism, or Blindness. Each class is 45 minutes long. Students must be able to independently go to the bathroom OR have somebody who stays to assist with bathroom needs. Friends & Pals Teen Club (age 13 – 21) provides an opportunity for friendship, conversation, and FUN! Teenagers need more independent social skills once they leave school for college or the job market. Our group gives teens on the autism spectrum an opportunity to utilize their social skills and practice them in a comfortable environment.
Gaming Meet up (ages 10-17), Media, PA – This event is for kids age 10 to 17, and we will have Legos, board games, WII video games, Nintendo DS and other video games, foosball and air hockey. They encourage participants to bring their favorite games to share and for parents to stay and socialize. Light refreshments will be available. 2:00 to 4:00 PM; Every 4th Sunday of the month.
