Nevada Early Intervention ServicesClick here for more informationNevada Early Intervention Services – Nevada Early Intervention Services (NEIS) provides comprehensive services to children from birth to three years of age with developmental delays or disabilities and their families who meet Nevada’s eligibility requirements. Services are provided at no cost to families. Child Find Screening – Child Find Screenings are a free service for children ages 3 to 5 years of age who are unable to talk or perform tasks like other children their age, who are not meeting normal developmental milestones, and for those who may have other special needs. General developmental and speech/language screenings will be performed to determine the need for further evaluation. Contact your local school district for further information.

Nye County School District – EARLY CHILDHOOD SPECIAL EDUCATION SCREENING – The Nye County School District has a responsibility to locate, assess, and identify children ages 3-5 who are not enrolled in any school program and who may have some kind of developmental delay(s).  If your child is currently being served through Nevada Early Intervention, please contact us about 90 days prior to your child turning 3 years of age. If you live anywhere within Nye County, contact the Nye County School District’s Special Education office at 775-751-4015 for an initial phone pre-screening.
